- Representatives from TurkishPAC visited DC to join a fundraiser campaign for Florida Congressman Robert Wexler. TurkishPAC donated $1,000 to this campaign. This also gave TurkishPAC to coordinate its efforts with other Turkish-American political action committees around the nation.
- TurkishPAC members visited the Houston Councilman M. J. Khan’s office presenting him books and articles that explain the historical background of the Turkish Armenian relations. This was followed by two presentations made to the Houston City Council on the issue in September 2007. As a result of these efforts M. J. Khan was able to get the Houston Mayor to issue a proclamation commemorating the 84th Anniversary of the Turkish Republic in October 29, 2007.
